In Memory of Firefighter Jarrett Little

Our numbers are incomplete and we feel a void. On December 31, 2008 while responding to a reported structure fire, Firefighter Jarrett Little lost his life in an apparatus accident. Jarrett started with Fort Oglethorpe Fire Department (FOFD) as an explorer at the age of 14. Once Jarrett turned 18 he became a volunteer, then continued his goal of becoming a career firefighter with Walker County in 2003. Jarrett continue to volunteer with FOFD and even assisted with the explorer program while working as a career firefighter at WCES. Jarret will always be remember as a very devoted firefighter who enjoyed helping others in need. This page is dedicated to his memory and work ethic as a firefighter.
